To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we’ve moved our normal F2Fclassroom-based courses to online, given the current circumstances with COVID-19. Plus, you can also study in the evenings and at weekends – we give you all the flexibility you need to complete your studies and get started in your new career as quickly as possible.
Career Progression and Pathways to Further Study
For those students who wish to pursue further study, there is always the option to upskill at Yorke Institute with a CHC53415 Diploma of Leisure and Health, opening up even more doors in management. This is a common educational path for students wishing to become a Disability Officer – Day Support, Diversional Therapist, Activities Coordinator, Community Leisure Coordinator, Leisure Services Manager and more.
Hands-on Practical Experience
Our aged care certificate courses were designed by industry experts to meet the immediate demands of industry. We take pride in producing career-ready graduates who will thrive in a new position, whether it’s in community care or residential care. Yorke Institute will find you a work placement at a reputable aged care facility with a minimum of 120 hours, so you’ll gain practical experience while putting classroom theory into practice.
