About the Course

The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management will build on your role as an emerging leader and manager in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
This program is targeted to students enrolled in Professional Year Program in Engineering as well as individuals intending to enrol in a standalone qualification. This program is structure to suit those assuming responsibility for their own performance. Individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organizing and monitoring the output of their team. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

Students will participate in a total of 884 hours of training, learning and assessment activities.
Selection Requirement
This course is available to students enrolled in the Professional Year Engineering program & for FREE to eligible candidates under the Skills First Program and Trainees Apprenticeship Program
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)
All applicants must undertake a Pre-training review wich includes relevant proficiency level of Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) to demonstrate that they have the required level of LLN skills required by the course.
Entry Requirement
Yorke requires the following evidence for the admission into this program
  • 18 years old and above
  • Completion of Year 10 education or an appropriate Certificate II or III level qualification which demonstrates the student’s readiness for entry to AQF Level 3 or Pre-Training review with Proficiency level of Language and Numeracy which is assessed by Yorke.
